DubFX ft. Mr. Woodnote
20.00 Uhr
Few artists embody the term "one-man show" better than Benjamin Stanford, aka Dub FX. For those unfamiliar with his work, Dub FX is a street performer, recording artist and producer famous for creating intricate and impressive tracks entirely on his own. Using various vocal methods and recording them into devices used for looping and effecting sound, Dub FX can manipulate his voice in incredible ways, creating a layered soundscape in front of the audience.
In 2006, as social media was on the rise, Dub FX packed his bags, jumped on a plane and left Melbourne to fulfil his dream of travelling Europe. For Dub FX, his musical talent and street performing were only ever intended as a means of income to fund the adventure. The universe, however, had other plans.
"I wanted to see as much of the world as possible and get inspired to write an authentic body of music. I could then use that music to shop for a record deal, but I didn't imagine my career could take off while on the trip." – DUB FX.
Dub FX realised early on that his unique process impressed people passing by on the street. While most artists struggle to attain slick production finishes in a studio, Dub FX was building and layering exceptional musical tracks live and instantaneously. When people stopped to listen, Dub FX delivered meaningful, conscious messages in his singing and rhymes. He captivated his audience emotionally and impressed them with his technical ability. These emotive & dynamic street performances enticed crowds to buy his CD instantly.
Two years later, Filmmaker Ben Dowden, aka 'BD', discovered Dub FX busking in the streets of Bristol. BD offered to film Dub FX's performance and later uploaded the now 30-plus million-view videos 'Love Someone' and 'Flow' to YouTube. Immediately after, promoters started contacting Dub FX from all over the world, elevating him from a street artist to a club and festival act.
"I went from living in a van and driving to every show while street performing along the way to getting flown business class to some of the biggest festivals in the world." – DUB FX
Over the last thirteen years, Dub FX has released six records, sold over 250,000 albums, headlined major festivals, racked up over 300 million collective YouTube views, and built an imposing social media presence without ever being played on commercial radio or TV.
The latest album, ‘Infinite Reflection,’ was anything but conventional. Over the span of nine consecutive weeks, a new track from the album was unleashed every Friday with its own video, treating each song as a standalone single and building anticipation with each successive release. The opening track, "Cracks in the Mirror," sets the stage with a powerful yet approachable sound. It reflects on societal issues without sacrificing a groove that fits into any playlist. The album continues to make a statement with "No More," featuring Steppa Style and Nappy Paco, which delivers a bold anti-war message. Living Inside maintains a laid-back vibe while introducing a lighter tone to the album, featuring vocals from the artist FRASE.
Dub FX's collaboration with his wife, Sahida Apsara, on "Woman Rising" brings a powerful and empowering narrative against misogyny and violence toward women. This standout track is a call to action wrapped in a confident and striking musical package. Meanwhile, "Floating" captures the euphoria of new love, bringing a sense of lightness and joy. "Dig This" keeps the energy high, leading into the more experimental territory of "Falling," where unexpected sounds push the boundaries of the album's direction."Supernova Jam" is a prime example of Dub FX's signature live-looping and smooth rhyming, reminiscent of 90s hip-hop. It seamlessly paves the way for the closing title track, "Infinite Reflection," a high-energy finale that leaves a lasting impression.
The album features collaborations with an array of talented artists, including Steppa Style, Nappy Paco, Paolo Baldini DubFiles, Frase, Sahida Apsara, Mista Savona, Mr Woodnote, and KILAFAUX, each adding their unique touch to the record.
The album is available now on all major streaming platforms.

Asian Dub Foundation
30th Anniversary Tour & Special Album “94-Now: Collaborations”
Legendary UK band Asian Dub Foundation is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year!
Asian Dub Foundation are a genre unto themselves. Their unique combination of jungliest
rhythms, dub bass lines and wild guitar overlaid by references to their South Asian roots via
militant high-speed rap has established them as one of the best live bands in the world. The
story began in the early 90’s when ADF formed from a music workshop in East London at the
institution which is their spiritual home, Community Music. Their unique beginnings in a music
workshop in east London shaped both their sound and their educational aspirations, setting
up their own organisation ADF Education (ADFED), plus instigating campaigns on behalf of
those suffering miscarriages of justice.
Building a solid live reputation in the mid-90’s, they gained worldwide recognition sharing the
stage with Rage Against The Machine, the Beastie Boys, Radiohead and Primal Scream. On
record, they've collaborated with Radiohead, Sinead O'Connor, Iggy Pop, Adrian Sherwood,
and Chuck D. In addition to their blistering live reputation ADF were one of the first bands to
experiment with live film re-scores (“Cineconcerts”), beginning with their rapturouslyreceived
re-interpretation of the French classic La Haine back in 2001.
In 30 years, Asian Dub Foundation have racked up 1000’s of unforgettable shows, 9 studio
albums alongside a social and educational activism that both created the group and sustains
them today. In celebration of the longevity of this unique project they are announcing an
extensive European tour for 2024-25 of more than 60 shows and a special album showcasing

JESSE ROYAL
18.00 Uhr
From an early age, Jesse David Leroi Grey, known as Jesse Royal, seemed destined for greatness. Born on April 29, 1989, in the hills of Maroon Town and the District of Orange in St. James, Jamaica, his mother believed he was chosen by the Creator to be a psalmist, spreading messages of righteousness and justice. As Jesse grew, his integrity, spirituality, and deep connection to music convinced her that he was being molded for a higher purpose. When his family moved to Kingston in the late 1990s, Jesse’s path became clearer, especially through his close friendship with Daniel ‘Bambaata’ Marley, son of Ziggy Marley. Their bond, fueled by a shared love for music and football, blossomed into a brotherhood that ignited Jesse’s passion for creating music. After returning from school abroad, Jesse reconnected with high school friend Kareem ‘Remus’ Burrell, son of legendary producer Philip ‘Fatis’ Burrell. Together, they began crafting music that reflected their shared views on the social issues facing Jamaica. Jesse’s voice, filled with the pain and hope of the oppressed, quickly caught the attention of Fatis Burrell, who became a significant mentor and inspiration. Under Burrell's guidance, Jesse worked with renowned musicians like Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespeare, and Earl ‘Chinna’ Smith, laying the foundation for his musical journey.
Now, Jesse Royal stands on the brink of releasing his debut album, produced by Kareem Burrell of XTM.Nation. His mixtape, "Misheni" (Swahili for "The Mission"), has already made waves, showcasing his profound lyricism and militant spirit. With a voice that resonates with the struggles of the people and a mission to inspire and unite, Jesse Royal is poised to make a lasting impression on the global reggae scene.

L'Entourloop
22.30 Uhr
In 2022; the unstoppable elders of the L'Entourloop collective, King James and Sir Johnny proudly presented their long-awaited third and new
album “La clarté dans la confusion” ("Clarity in Confusion").
Produced in their now legendary Bandulu Studio, the 20 tracks of this new album are the result of a patient production process, carried out
with care and passion. Throughout the album, L'Entourloop testifies in its own way via a puzzle of film samples, of this strange period that we
have just gone through collectively, using all its savoir faire when it comes to make the people dance.
Since 1964, when the song "My Boy Lollipop" flooded the European radio airwaves, L'Entourloop’s love for reggae and its culture has never
stopped growing. With this third album, they wanted to pay tribute to the legendary pioneers of this incredible movement – artists and
producers such as Tom Wong, Count Machuki, Prince Buster and Lee "Scratch" Perry. An album which is a true declaration of love for
soundsystem culture and its children - reggae, dancehall and hip-hop.
The success of their previous albums "Chickens in Your Town" (2015) and "Le Savoir Faire" (2017), with their famous "Banging Hip-Hop Inna
Yardie Style" quickly brought L’Entourloop into the spotlight, along with their hundreds of shows performed all over Europe. The mysterious
collective continues to bring together an ever-growing audience around the world, as proved by their hundreds of millions of plays on music
platforms.
True lovers of vinyl and old cinema, in their perpetual quest for the ultimate sample, the insatiable diggers kept their fans waiting by first
dropping the excellent DJ-Mix "Start From Scratch" in the summer of 2021, followed by a series of 3 official remixes, including the Reunion
Island anthem "Li Sem".
Another striking characteristic of L'Entourloop is the great ability of King James and Sir Johnny to gather incredible guests from around the
world. Whether with Skarra Mucci and their now classic "Dreader Than Dread" or their excellent EP “Golden Nuggets” (2019), Capleton for the
extravagant remix of "Burn Dem Down", producer Panda Dub they collaborated with on "Le Bonheur" or French singer Biga Ranx for their hit
"Push The Limits", L'Entourloop has the gift of giving birth to collaborations that mark the spirits.
With no less than 32 guests from all over the world, MCs fling lyrics like guns like in a western movie and the new album is no exception!
On the reggae side, Jamaican legends such as Ken Boothe and Bounty Killer meet new generation stars such as Alborosie, Kabaka Pyramid,
Queen Omega and Marcus Gad. On the hip-hop side Chali 2Na from legendary US group Jurassic 5, Swedish MC Promoe from Looptroop
Rockers, US rapper Rêverie, the excellent JuJu Rogers, French beatmaker Degiheugi and the irresistible South African female rapper Dope St
Jude all make appearances.
The UK vibe can also be felt with features from jungle and dancehall pioneers General Levy and Tippa Irie as well as heavyweights of the
grime scene Flowdan, Lady Chann and Killa P. Fellow French artists are also in the spotlight with guests such as Big Red, O.B.F and
Manudigital.

Newen Afrobeat
12.00 Uhr

SALATIEL
14.15 Uhr
Since his earliest childhood.
Pianist, drummer, singer, songwriter and
producer, Salatiel has been passionate about
music from an early age on, stemming from
both personal desire and vital necessity. His
single “Fap Kolo” was a winning entry in the
2014 MTN Cameroon competition “Make The
Music” and quickly elevated him to one of the
essential figures of the local emerging
musicians scene. One of a generation that
redefines the identity of Cameroonian music,
to win over crowds all over the continent.
Salatiel is probably today one of the
greatest African artists and producers of his
generation. The child hailing from Tiko, a small
town in the Cameroonian South-West Region
where he was born on December 26, 1987,
was chosen by Beyoncé to represent
Francophone Africa on the album “The Lion
King: The Gift” in 2019. He collaborated with
Pharelle Williams and Beyoncé on the song
“Water”. Consistent in his work, creative and
special in his diversity, he adds to this album
and inspired by the soundtrack of the
animated movie “The Lion King”, a touch of
African authenticity, just like the other stars
featured on the record: Wizkid, Burna Boy, Mr
Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Tekno, Yemi Alad (Nigeria),
Shatta Wale (Ghana), or Busiswa and
Moonchild (South Africa).
As the head of his label Alpha Better
Records, created in 2013, he has produced
Mr Leo, Daphne, Askia, Blaise B and has helped
them achieve stardom amongst Cameroonian
artists. He also produced songs with
internationally renowned artists such as the
late Manu Dibango, Youssou N'Dour, Rutshelle
Guillaume, Teni, Stone Boy, Sauti Sol, Soul
Bang’s, Petit Pays, Charlotte Dipanda and
Locko.
As a pastor’s son, Salatiel thrives on gospel
but also feeds on a wide variety of influences,
ranging from Afrobeat to classical music,
reggae, makossa, bikutsi, coupé-décalé or
afropop, afrofunk, house, etc. The thoroughly
passionate musician and outstanding producer
was trained to produce music alongside Emile
Ngumbah from 2010-2013, founder of M-One
Music Studio, one of the best-known record
labels in Cameroon.
